The Wisdom of the Drum

The drum is the oldest instrument on earth, and its sound speaks directly to our heart, to our subconscious. Its rhythmic tone reminds us of the first thing we heard when we decided to enter the world in physical form: our mother's heartbeat in her womb. Therefore, the drum resonates deeply within our consciousness, grounding us and connecting us to our primal power and our heart. That's why it's also called "tambor de corazón" in Spanish.

My two drums, which I created with the assistance of a dear friend, accompany me in the ceremonies. One is made of red deer leather, the other of horse leather. Thus, they also carry the power of these animals and bring their special energy into the ceremonies. They are my most faithful companions and teachers.

I offer drumming circles where we drum together in a circle, or I can create a personalized drumming journey for you. I'm also always open to sharing my knowledge of working with the drum, because it's a matter close to my heart that people understand: This is not an ordinary instrument, but a living being. The more strongly you connect with your drum, the more you experience the power and magic of the drum and the animal.
