The power of cupping

Cupping is one of the oldest known healing methods known to mankind – its roots go back several thousand years. Cupping involves using fire to create a vacuum in a glass jar; previously, horns or shell-like vessels were used. These are placed on the skin, creating a vacuum in the tissue. This loosens stuck fascia and causes a bruise. The body sends fresh blood into the small injury caused by the cupping, allowing muscles or stuck tissue to regenerate. For years, I struggled with severe neck tension, triggered by my work as a hairdresser. I tried many massages, but none compared to cupping, as it directly reaches the deeper layers and the effects are therefore longer-lasting. That's precisely why I was so fascinated by this technique and wanted to learn it. I read many books on fascia theory and cupping, attended courses on the subject, and initially practiced on friends before I began offering the treatment. Today, I offer cupping treatments conveniently as a home visit – you can be treated while relaxing in bed or on a mat on the floor.

Duration & Price: 1 hour CHF 120.– excluding travel costs

I am not a medical masseuse and only treat healthy people who suffer from normal tension or muscular tension.
